ECHELON REQUIEM: CHRONICLES OF THE TITAN’S FALL

The goal of this project was to re-skin a game into a completely new art-style. The chosen game is called FPS Microgame, and is provided by Unity for free.

In the distant realm of Eldoria, a once-glorious civilization flourished with the aid of colossal beings known as Titans. These Titans, revered as gods, provided protection, sustenance, and guidance to the people. However, greed and hubris led to their downfall. The civilization's leaders sought to harness the Titans' power, triggering a cataclysmic event that shattered the Titans and plunged Eldoria into chaos.

Centuries later, the remnants of Eldoria are a shattered world, scarred by the Titans' fall. The largest of these fallen Titans, Echelon, is now a colossal skeleton, the last haunting reminder of the civilization's greed. Its bones stretch across the landscape, creating a labyrinthine underworld of tunnels, chambers, and towering bone structures.

The player assumes the role of a lone scavenger who enters the Titan's remains seeking a way to restore balance to Eldoria. Their family was directly affected by the fall of the Titans, motivating them to uncover the truth behind their downfall and find a way to heal the world.

As the player explores the depths of Echelon's skeleton, they encounter a diverse cast of characters, each with their own motivations and stories. Some are fellow scavengers seeking to survive in the hostile environment, while others are remnants of ancient orders who once revered the Titans as gods. Among these groups, tensions rise as ideologies clash over the true cause of the Titans' fall.

The player discovers that an ancient malevolent force, the Echoing Void, is responsible for corrupting the Titans' power and triggering their downfall. This malevolence continues to taint the land, spawning the twisted creatures that now inhabit Echelon's remains. To defeat the Echoing Void and restore balance, the player must collect fragments of the Titans' essence, hidden within each chamber of Echelon's skeleton.

Throughout their journey, the player learns about the mistakes of the past and the importance of humility, unity, and sacrifice. They uncover the truth behind the fall of the Titans and must make difficult choices to prevent history from repeating itself. The game's climax sees the player confronting the Echoing Void in a final battle within the heart of Echelon's remains.

"Echelon Requiem: Chronicles of the Titan's Fall" weaves a tale of redemption, exploration, and the consequences of wielding power without restraint. The visuals of the decaying titan skeleton, the emotional depth of the characters, and the immersive gameplay combine to create a captivating narrative-driven experience that resonates with players long after they've ventured into the depths of Eldoria's past.
